So I'm a new mapper, but I've looked around the site here a couple times before. I have almost no idea what I'm doing and can barely texture, so expect a lot of rather dumb questions.
But I'm good at playing TF2!

Hey welcome to the forums. If you have any questions, people around here are generally very nice and are happy to answer them for you, just post them over in the mapping and tutorials section.

There are also some great tutorials and links around the place that will help you with practically anything, some guy called engineer will be round here soon to give you some links.
