Having trouble packing stuff using VIDE from the construct pack

    Yeah, I keep testing it without the pack, and it still has error models, even though I packed them manually too.

    Where did you install the construction pack, if you put it in custom you will need to move it because vide can't see custom.

    Move the content to [.../Team Fortress 2/tf/materials] and [.../Team Fortress 2/tf/models] respectively.

    The problem is that the game and hammer doesnt notice models if its not in custom.

    That doesn't sound like the Hammer I know.

    If they don't appear in hammer you didnt instal them correctly. Mind that there are two different models folder. There is:

    tf/models
    tf/materials/models

    in the former go the model files and the latter you have to put in the prop's texture files.

    Now you should see them in hammer and can try packing the map. If you pack automaticly, make sure the scan path is correct and leads to the /tf folder. Press scan, auto, apply and then save. Check if the file paths are correct. in VIDE they should only name the folders after the tf folder, for example "/materials/models/..."
    If you add files manually make sure the path is the same as I just described.
