    Hi everyone

    This is my second real map,but my first one that i am gonna release.
    it is a harbor with 5 Control Points
    the containers will give you cover for the sniper and give you a chance to get close to them without being seen
    you have to stay in a team and stick together to win
    i hope you like it

    i don't know if i will make an new release ( depends on your commands)
    but i worked 2 weeks on this map

    Those are hl2 textures and models, we don't use them here. Sorry, you have to remove/replace them.

    Yeah the 'gritty/realistic' hl2 textures kinda clash with the tf2 style textures. They are a little hard on the eye mixed, so you should try to stay away from mixing them and try to keep your tf2 map in the tf2 style.

    It'd probably be easy to make your own TF2y versions of them, or get someone else here to make them for you, try putting a request in in the request section..

    It's not like we remove them for having HL2 stuff. We just won't like them if you do.

    guys.

    You're missing the obvious and more important thing here. My jaw dropped when I saw the fourth screenshot because oh my GAWD is that a huge map. Seriously, if those crates and missiles are at their normal size your map must be ginormous!

    HL2 textures are not good practice, but I suppose there's nothing wrong with using them in an alpha as temporary/placeholders or in moderation (See Waste, a couple Valve Maps).

    I'll run through this later, but I might be afraid for my height complex. >_>;

    1) Check the 10 commandments

    2) Try to come up with a legitimate idea that you put more than 5 minutes thought into.. Sorry the layout looks like you made a huge building, and scattered a bunch of boxes around, correct me if I'm wrong, but that my opinion.

    the map is a almost the same size as orange
    so it is a + 24 map
    i did not know about hl2 models :p
    so i try to replace them

    Lot of work unfortunately ;)

    Btw: orange is ridiculously open and all around is a pathetic map... I wouldn't compare yours to it.

    X2: removed/replaced hl2 models with tf models
    made windows breakable
    make the fence under Electricity ( demos can not get out the map)
    made the map playable up to 32 players

    how can you see if a texture is hl2 or tf?

    please play my map and after that comment :p

    While you select your texture, type ''tf'' in your keyword field to see only tf2 textures ;)

    X3: repainted (almost) the whole map with tf texture

    but did anyone play it already\??
