Handrail Texture Problem

So recently I've downloaded The Handrail models by Ravidge and I can't seem to get the textures working, every time I load one in its just a model with missing pink and black textures, and ideas?

Note: I have recently had a crashing issue with hammer and have removed the tf2_misc directory from the gameinfo txt file. I'm worried that it may start crashing again once I put it back in if its unrelated to this.

If I had to take a guess, this is your problem. I looked at the handrails pack and noticed it doesn't contain any textures, so I'm guessing it references textures that already exist in the tf2_misc directory.
