HandleMapEvent in tf_gamerules

    Hi guys, I was wonder if anyone of you know what HandleMapEvent input in tf_gamerules does?
    I've seen it been used in plr_hightower_event by Valve, and I can't wrap my head around what it actually does.

    As I understand it, HandleMapEvent is a way for the map to tell the game to do something. For example, in mvm_mannhattan, when a robot is pushed on to the banana peel next to the wood pulp grinder it grants the players an achievement. I think the game is probably coded to accept these events on specific maps, so they can't be triggered by a custom map.
