    HH + THG: New Map Night - we'll test your maps! Sun 29th March

    Hello, I'm Sam from the Hampshire Heavies, a UK/EU TF2 clan. We're running a New Map Night on Sunday, 7pm GMT/UK time, in co-operation with Trigger Happy Gamers, and we'd like to test your maps!

    We provide feedback on server and on our forum, along with a SourceTV demo if you can't come along. It's a 24 man public server, alltalk switched on. Our server is usually full for the whole playtest.

    Couple rules, similar to the gameday: map must be in active development, playable on a 24 man public server, no fullbright, must have better gameplay than orange_x. The map will be played for as long as is worthwhile - anywhere from between 20 to 40 minutes. We hope to play 5 maps over 2 hours.

    I cannot promise 100% that if you post your map, we will be able to play it. We have to do what's best to keep our member's interest. Though we are very very forgiving!

    The HH has a long history of assisting mappers. Over the years we have been involved in playtesting freight, gullywash, and steel - in fact, our help with the latter got us our own poster included in every single copy of TF2!

    Help us live up to our legacy and discover the next 'officialised' community map.

    These guys did a great job testing and getting me feedback this weekend on Glassworks and Probed, so if you've got a serious map in development and want some solid feedback, hit them up!

    I second Crash, great community with great playtesters! I got my map pl_coldtop tested and got some great feedback (and gameplay!) moments!

    I'll be sure to come around for the next event!

    This map is a 3cp domination map, like Standin, so I can't be sure whether it'll keep your players' interest or not, but here goes:

    Hi Ynders, I'm not sure we will test your map this week as our playerbase aren't really fans of standin-style maps. So I don't think we would have much useful feedback. Sorry :(

    I did have a run around and it looks like an interesting map, I especially like what you did with the water around the cap point.

    ..

    Otherwise, we now have enough maps for this week! Please post anyway and I'll keep you in mind for next time.

    How frequent are these test nights? I'd like to test my map's gamepay in its current, quite rudimentary state so as to make any changes (if they turn out to be necessary) BEFORE putting in visual detail.

    Hoping to do one every week!

    Maps without much texturing/detail work are very welcome. We tend to focus on layout more than anything else.
