I made a Hammer for L4D2 and for TF2.. still its nice.. free comment and say if it needs to be better or i need to make with more stuff. I have already the content but i'm not good with the MDL compiler. :p Some step misses me.

It looks like its made of rubber. :S

That's just because its using Blender's default texture and crappy lighting. (GET TEXTURING RICARDO! :D)

also, how big is it? you have to make sure that you have scaled it right. The default cube is 2x2x2 units big btw.

Hmm can't tell alot without it being rendered properly and textured.

Otherwise i think it looks rubbery.

Another thing about the actual model, I think the head could do with some tweaking. bake the body of it a bit more square and the nail remover at the back could be more curved and flat at the end.

Also, it looks TF2-y (good) but that means it doesn't look L4D2-y. If you want to make one for L4D2, make it look more realistic.

It looks too complex for such a small object.

Stop smoothing the entire thing, remove smoothing groups then re-apply them properly.

I really shouldn't have to tell this to every blender user :S

one of the things i don't like in blender when you apply a texture.. UV stuff.. it doesn't really do.. like makes it look uglier. Atleast i gave my Best :) In modeling.
