You can also hold shift and then drag with your mouse, much faster because you can also rotate/vertex edit immediately after too.

sometimes I use the arrow keys instead to copy props that might snap to grid differently.

You can also hold shift and then drag with your mouse, much faster because you can also rotate/vertex edit immediately after too.

I prefer doing that because then I can use the arrow keys to shift the 2d view WHILE still holding down the mouse button, so I can directly copy something somewhere away without having to copy, zoom out, drag, zoom in, place properly.
