Hammer acting up...

I've been having problems with hammer the last 2 days. Basically I can start it up, load up a map, and work for about 5 minutes, but then everything slows down until finally it crashes altogether. I haven't been able to work more than maybe 7 minutes at a time in the past few days.

Any ideas at all (even just speculation) would be very appreciated. I've already tried refreshing the SDK content, restarting Steam, and restarting my computer.

alright I'm just gonna re-install the thing and see if that does it. Is there a way to uninstall/re-install just hammer without having to do it to the entire SDK?

are you running 64 bit maybe? Try steam ticket? Dunno sorry

No, I'm running vista 32-bit. How does steam ticket work?
And I don't think it's related to Steam or the SDK because only Hammer is crashing, the SDK itself remains open with no issues.
