*grumble* offline..

Ack. So my cable got shut off yesterday.. *im an idiot for not paying bills*

But to my real surprise.. you can not use Hammer while "offline?

WTH.

I can start most all games offline, i can start steam offline... but i cant run a program that really can only be used PC sided and offline, what a complete *random cussing* :confused1:

Is there any type of work around? a trick? something that will let me do my mapping offline actually.... you know... offline :bored:

Haaah didn't found a solution too man, its steam, it uses internet all the time to do things behind your back, I had hammer open a few times, disconnected with internet, and I couldn't compile anymore etc.

So far I wished I could help you since I have the same problem

That's weird, cause mine works offline. In fact, a lot of the time I use it in offline mode, but I don't know why yours wouldn't be working.

Edit: oh. I run mine in "offline mode", but if snipergen is right, then it still uses the internet. I don't think I've tried while unhooked from the internet.
