func_movelinear stuttering ingame when standing on it.

    Hey all,

    Does anyone know why it shakes so much when I stand on a platform that is a func_movelinear? I'm working on a jump map and it's really annoying for movement and to get off the platform.

    How bad is the stuttering? A video of it would help illustrate the problem greatly.

    Yeah, that just looks like source being source.

    You could try replacing it with a func_tracktrain, which tends to have more stable collisions. Not sure if it'll fix this specific issue though.

    func_movelinears seem to move smoothly only when vertical.
