func_door_rotating question (or any rotating entity)

    Another question I have for Source SDK Hammer effects, I want to make trails rotate as they follow the player, I've tried parenting the spritetrails to func_door_rotating, and a logic_auto to start the rotating button, but when the func_door_rotating gets parented to the player, the spritetrails follow the player, but does not rotate. Help?
