See, I never just did things just to do them. Come on, what am I gonna do? Just all of a sudden jump up and grind my feet on somebody's couch like it's something to do? Come on. I got a little more sense then that.

...

Yeah, I remember grinding my feet on Eddie's couch.

Is it possible to use that scrolling water texture on a regular brush? I cant see the texture in Hammer.

Edit:

Nevermind, found the textures, trying to make look right on a brush...

Scrolling textures are part of the material itself. No brush or entity can do that. (However, they can interact with existing proxies in the material) If you want moving water, you either got to find an existing material that does, or write a new material file that uses the scrolling material proxy.

If you want, give me a material name, and I can reply with the contents of a .vmt that will make it scroll at a given rate/direction.

Or, you can do it yourself

I made my own waterfall using the waterfall model textures and a displacement tube, the problem is that the waterfall is solid and I want players to be able to pass thru it...

How do you make a displacement non solid?

There's a checkbox in the displacement tab to disable collisions.

Nice implementation, I wouldn't have thought of that. :X
