    Hey everyone!

    This is my first map that I have ever done, I know that it's quite simple and all, but I'm not really to sure how to do all the fancy stuff yet, but I will get there!

    First A17:
    Added Fence over middle walls.
    Added something so other team can't get in spawn room.

    First A16:
    Fixed purple and black textures on blue side.
    Fixed cubemaps.

    First A15:
    Added a lot of detail Static props.
    Added a lot of team lights and spot lights.
    Changed the skybox to a darker one.
    Fixed Doors opening at the same time.
    Changed the Intel return time to 20sec.

    First A8:
    Fixed func_respawnroomvisualizer problem.

    First A7:
    Added lights around the map.
    Redid team spawn doors.
    Added decal.

    First A6:
    Replaced lights in spawn rooms.
    Fixed lighting to my extent.(problem in blue spawn still)
    Removed small rocks.(casted strange shadows)
    Added lights to team respawn base.

    First A5:
    Still having lighting problems.
    Edited all the textures.
    Added rocks and rails and lamps.
    Added sounds from gold rush.
    Fixed the stair case.
    Added custom textures for blue team.
    Edited the middle walls.
    Added arrow decals.

    First A1:
    Added walls in the middle.
    Added stairs to get to roof.
    Added walls to protect players from getting sniped out of spawn.
    Added wall so players wont all off roofs.

    First A:
    Made the map.
    Very simple.
    Dev textures.
    Team decals.

    from the screenshots it looks exceedingly open, needs a lot more cover

    Add some more cover and height, and submit it to gameday for feedback ;D

    rule#12:
    Never run with the scout through your maps, choose a medium speed class (spy, pyro,engi, sniper, demo) to balance the distances of your map
    once in a while choose heavy and walk the miles, if it feels like a daytrip, something is wrong

    What is gameday?

    Thanks for the tips, I have been editing the map for a couple of hours but I'm having a lot of trouble with the environment to give it good lighting.

    Edit:
    Updated the map, I didn't get the lighting how I wanted it, but it looks fine.

    Gameday is an event that happens every weekend, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, where the TF2maps servers play maps in development and the players provide feedback to improve your map.

    So if you submitted your map, you will get 30 minutes of it being played and you will get feedback on how to improve it :3

    The gameday threads where you can enter are under the Events forum.

    Oh that's really nice thanks for letting me know, but it looks like I missed the deadline unless it's for Sunday also.

    Updated the map too.

    Thanks, I was really upset that blue side didn't have blueish things so I just extracted the red ones and made them blueish!

    Final update till next game day, hosted file is in bzip2 format inside a zip if that's alright, if not I can easily change it.

    Gameday feedback: Pakrat your custom stuff next time. Preferably before you apply for a gameday spot.

    Also, there seems to be little or no explaination why the intel is out in the open and why you should be stealing it, Soldiers can get to the other side of the map really easily and we had some spawn-camping Demomen.

    For a "First. Map. Ever.", it's average. I've seen worse, but I've seen far better.

    From gameday, It took 30 mins to get the first cap which was due mainly to sheer luck. I would add some side paths or something since one engineer outside the spawn is enough to prevent the entire other team from capping.
