    Fiesta. - spanish map

    Im lazy to update this so this is the description from 72HR

    Wait no I actually have time.
    Based (kinda) on a real place, this map is a King of the Flag!
    I dont know where to place the flag because is rotational symmetry, so meanwhile is at the top of the fountain.
    Stay around the fountain with the flag to make your team timer go down but dont try to take the intel to your base.

    Beep Beep Boop
    • Updated spawns
      • Two spawn exits.
      • Cool windows.
      • Added extra route from spawn.
    • Detailing
      • Turned off some windows.
      • Added more props.
    • Gameplay
      • Trigger hurt in the roofs where players can stand on.
      • Removed some road blockers.
      • Changed hedges to the bigger ones.
      • Increased time needed to hold the flag to 2 minutes.
      • Added a full health pack and full ammo pack in the little room next to the point.
      • Removed collisions to all the windows.
      • Fixed an unintentional road height.
      • Removed wall in the bar hallway.
      • Removed a fence.
      • Moved the ammo pack and health pack from the bar.
      • The table zone of the bar is no longer accesible.
    • Optimization
      • Sealed the map.
      • Hide some stuff from KOTF prefab.
      • Added a few areaportals.

      • Sealed... I think
    • GAMEPLAY
      • Added a cheap sightline breaker in the sides of the point
      • Lowered ammo packs in the room next to the point from Full to Medium
      • The point now is marked
      • New rooms added to the point where the drops are
      • Moved lamps
      • Fixed some clipping
      • Sightline breaker in the spiral staircase
      • Any class can reach the intel spawnpoint
      • Fixed a blu spawnpoint that I messed up when mirroring
    • DETAILING
      • Cubemaps
      • The point have some cool hologram to mark it
      • And other stuff that i forgot
    Alone I get around 90FPS around the point.
    In the point I get 120FPS.
    Probably wont do anything because the game is not optimized.

    Its just 3 func_brush with the control point prop hologram textures.
    Is just set to dont have collisions and start disabled, and when the control point owner disables and enables the func_brush to match the team that have the point.

    The textures are under /gameplay/cappoint

    I used nocull versions so I dont have to texture every face.
    There is different versions of the texture, the ones with stripes are the ones that the control point prop base have (from hologram fades to transparent) And the solid ones are just hologram, without fading.

    Did you have to extract these textures? Only props/gameplay_sign01a shows up when I put "gameplay" in filter.

    Uh... Well now here i dont have any idea.
    I have so much stuff that I installed and maybe its just a custom texture.

    EDIT: Actually is a custom texture that I had to pack into the map, I had no idea when I installed this texture.
    I dont have the link or anything where I got this texture, but you can probably unpack my map and get the texture from there

    Pakrat can't open the bsp for some odd reason...
    anyways, after some searching I found the textures, but the link is broken due to the recent site problems.

    I think I messed something up
    • Decreased brush number a little bit by deleting cloned overlapping brushes
    • Increased brush number a fuckton by detailing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    • Detailing
    • More detailing
    • I dont know what else I should do instead of detailing
    • Increased a lil' bit the skybox height
    • I think I fixed some stuff
    • Added even more areaportals
    • Added a bunch of frontline custom content to increase map file size because why not
    • Control point should be lighted with cool light bulbs
    • Changed van in the middle of the street for a smol car
    • SOUNDSCAPE!
    • Cooler spawns (Detailing)
    • Control zone point is a little bit less deep (16 HU up)
    • The rooms next to the control points are bigger to compensate the less deep thing

    BABY OH BABY PREPARE FOR DISAPPOINTMENT
    • NEW FRESH LOGIC
      • Each team have now their own flag at their spawns
      • Works *like* a normal KOTH
      • 30 seconds until the point enables.
      • You can block enemy captures.
      • Start capturing the point with the flag.
      • When you captured the point, stay at the zone so the timer goes down.
    • Tried to optimize the map
      • Added some hints in the sky
      • Every prop have fade distances
    • Point is way less deep (48HU)
      • The stairs leading to the point are less "insane"
      • Added ramps at the sides of the point where you drop to avoid people jumping back
      • RIP Side rooms
    • Pickups have overlays under them
    • Tried to light up the point even MORE
    • Removed annoying pillar in the side route when leaving spawn
    • HUD when capturing the point *maybe* goes crazy
      • IT'S A FEATURE
