Everytime i start my map i fall through the floor

    i made a simple map that uses a texture of scout as the walls/roof/floor but i always fall through the floor when i play it. how do i fix this

    What's the properties of that texture? it may be one of the ones you can pass through. Try a dev texture.

    how do i change the property of the texture.

    After looking into what the texture is, passtime/hud/portrait_scout_blu you'll need to use a different texture as this is designed for huds and not map geometry. You could make a VMT (https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Material) for it but I would just use a dev texture instead.

    i know i cloud make a custom texture that is the same burt its solid but then people will just get missing textures

    I looked at the vmf in hammer, and It seems that most of the spawn entities have not been raised off of the floor which I believe does cause players to fall through the map when they spawn.
