Embarassing map projects you wish you could forget

My First map. Too lazy to get screenshots, but it was a 3 cp attack/ defence map starting with a steep hill, that went into a big storage area with badly made stairs and giant shelves that made people feel like it it was one of those ant maps (I made the shelves big so that crates and such would fit) and then, the last point? Literally just shipping crates.
Everywhere.
That was the last point

*P.S. In relation to the post above, mine was actually called cp_shipping

This means that maps with shipping in the name are 100% sure to be horrible

edit: a map I was working on (and off and on repairing) had a cargo area, where the track was looped around twice a pillar of boxes

i haven't been mapping long BUT i have a project that never saw the light and sadly is long gone. it was a KOTH map and it was mostly textured, it had two buildings on each side of this square and you could see the enemy spawn from your spawn, basically no paths no proper mid nothing! (it was the only reasonably sized map I have made though XD)

The whole map was built and tested in a skybox cube. Yes, that's with brushes, not cordon. And like many of my projects, I never even finished it.

It also had a laser above the point using the cool point_tesla, but I didn't get a screenshot of that.

the early pre-alphas of Alloy suffered a lot from my complete lack of knowledge of TF2 Mapping
the first few alphas of Shortpeak too

and this was only like a few months ago

A few years ago I had the dumbest idea of making a long bridge with a deathpit below and call it a "map". I literally called it koth_sniperwonderland because of the hideous sightlines it had now that I think of it it could work as a trade map
But of course I was 14 at that time and everyone is/was stupid at that age

I can't even look at my map cp_funicular_a1. Even through it was over-scaled, I learned how to use I/O from making the funiculars. And I now limit myself to 512 for displacement squares to help keep the scale in perspective.

Haha, loving these! I wish i had something like this from TF2 but all my stupid work is back from 2008 CS Source and not anymore saved anywhere.
