Dynamite - Red and Blu have a dispute, but at least the mid point is dynamic.

My entry into the Dynamic CP Contest. A symmetrical CP map set, well currently in dev texture land.

The main gimmick is that the middle point, when capped, moves to the losing side of the map. There's also a conveyor belt, and moving doors.

So your dynamic element makes it so that games can last forever if both teams play their cards right and can just keep recapping mid because now its harder to defend?


Well, Powerhouse for one can stalemate because no one is capping any points, but I can look around and do some tests to see if there is anything I can do to prevent any stalemates.

Ignore Dave, he says this about basically all maps. Personally, I think it sounds like an interesting idea - you might have to play around with it a bit to get it working well, but it could be fun :D

Dave is right though, it's gonna be hard to defend the center control point short of relentlessly spawncamping the enemy team. It's either that or the map turning into a constant back-and-forth, or either team being discouraged from capping because it's gonna be harder to defend.

Still, I haven't seen how it plays, so whatevs.
