Dropbox is a very simple to use application that automatically syncs your files in a special Dropbox folder to the web. It can also be used to have a shared folder with an other Dropbox user, where you are both able to upload, edit and remove files from that folder.
I don't want to spam advertisements about dropbox, but my personal experience is that it has been really useful. Instead of messy photobucket or imageshack links, you get a nice and clean direct link to the image without any ads. It's great for uploading screenshots of your map. I used the shared folder system when Mangy and I worked on the snow theme maps. You can also set up a TF2 folder structure so that server admins can use the dropbox link to set up Fast download on your maps. All you have to do is to create a tf folder inside the public Dropbox folder, then a maps folder inside the tf folder. Then you just dump your compressed maps in there. Dropbox will then automatically sync all files in that folder and upload it to the internet.
You've got 2 Gb space by default. If you register through a referral link, or if you refer someone, you'll get 250 MB extra, so it's a win-win situation to use a referral link. But it's up to you of course!
If you want to register dropbox without being referred, use this link:
Register (2 Gb space)
If you're feeling extra kind, you can register with me as your referrer.
Register (2.25 Gb space)
(I hit the 3 Gb limit, thanks guys! If anyone want to have their link here, let me know!)
Don't forget to download the program itself after you've registered!
