DOTA 2 map

    I'm trying to get a DOTA 2 map into TF2. I've used BSPSource to decompile the BSP and I now have a vmf file. However when I try to open it in Hammer (opened from the TF2 folder) I get reading chunks 5% and then it all closes down.

    I've looked through the vmf in notepad to see if there were any issues with the double quotation marks, but as I expected, it being a valve map, there aren't any issues there.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Dota's map is from a far more recent version of source, virtually none of its features would work in TF2 so you'd need to drastically rebuild it anyway.

    I was just hoping for the brushes and models to be ported. Guess I'll have to wait for the source update

    Or just do it manually I guess :/

    models aren't in a vmf anyway. you have to port them from dota 2 differently
