I have two displacements next to each other with the same texture yet for some reason both receive two very obvious different kinds of shading. At first I thought it was the lighmap scale but it isn't that. Does anyone have any ideas?[IMG]

If you can't find the answer, just remake the brush.

Did you sew them and do a final light compile? From the screenshots it looks like you have two really big displacements. You might have to split them into smaller ones.

If you do a normal vrad compile the center of the displacement is used as lighting origin and if that center is within another brush the displacement is rendered darker.
