Since I'm using Linux, I was wondering if Valve will make Hammer Editor especially for Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, LinuxMint etc.) intstead of using Wine or PlayOnLinux to do this.
    Should we discuss about it?
    Maybe, the release date? Or?

You might see a Source 2 Hammer get released with something in the future, but for TF2, you won't see it as far we know.

Kind of sucks, but you'll need to use Wine or another wrapper (?) of sorts.

The game itself barely runs on Linux, and the devs don't seem to care enough to fix it; no sense beating a dead horse.

Yeah, turns out releasing free software and keeping it working, also for free, isn't profitable. No surprise.

It's possible to make a profit from free software. But that requires selling support contracts. We all know how great Valve is at support.
