I'm currently making attack/defense map and I have possible choke point. Fortunately it is choke point for red and not the worst one. My question is how serious it is to have choke point for defending team between first and second cap point? Of course you don't want choke points for blue but for red?
If your map is a single-stage A/D map that only has two control points then a choke area between 1 and 2 could be good for prolonging the length of the round. A choke area for the red team would just be a defended front, for them. So if they are able to use it to throttle the blue advance, they would feel like they are winning the round. Just be mindful that for an attacking team, a choke area could feel like a really bad place to play if they feel like they can't overcome it.
