Dear Esther maps decompiled?

    According to their website, BSPsource should be able to handle this, but I've yet to make it work. :confused:

    Dear Esther uses the portal 2 engine and some new tech, so it will not work if you want to decompile them. Also why do you want to decomple?

    You can still fly around the maps in-game in noclip, which can reveal a lot of the techniques used.

    What do you mean it doesn't work, be more specific, does it crash when hammer loads it? Or is bspsource not decompiling?

    Should've been a bit more clear about it, I actually meant the original mod version. shouldn't be a problem, but for some reason, it crashes my hammer editor.

    I figured a way around that.

    EIther use the portal 2 hammer editor with the file, or open notepad++ and delete all the entities. these both have worked for me.
