Dark shadow and broken lamp help!

    try disabling shadows on the prop that may get rid of that blackness

    what do you mean by break the lamp? deleting it in hammer? or being able to shoot it in game and have it break?

    well the model probably needs support for that, im not sure if that model has support for that.

    Is there a solution to the dark shadows without closing the shadows? I want shadows

    you could put a light source pointing to that darkness to light is guaranteed to get there

    You could setup the logic for the lamp by having two prop (dynamics i think). Then somehow connect them so once the thep is breaked (takes x damage), it enables the hidden broken lamp, but I am not sure if it works. However you can definetely have a light_dynamic go off when the bulb is shot.
