CViewRender trouble

    So I run +showbudget in my map and apparently 80% of the lag behind my low fps is due to this pal, CViewRender:Render. According to the VDC: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Showbudget#CViewRender::Render determines what's going to be rendered each frame. It's affected by detail props, monitors, reflective water. Also "The number of times the world is rendered per frame will directly increase the time spent here." Sooooo why would I have such a ridiculously high percentage of fps devoted to this?

    How can I optimize to reduce it, because everything else is doing okay?

    Can we get some screens of areas where it's high? Seems to me you have some combination of too much water, too many detail props, and too many other items being reflected in said water.
