Custom Particles not Precaching

    So I've made some custom particles for a map I'm making. The PCF files for them are in tf/particles/<filename>.pcf with the correct manifest for the map in maps/<mapname>_particles.txt.

    The game reads the manifest and gives me the error

    "Attempt to precache unknown particle system failed <particlename>" (Or something similar.)

    This is only the custom particle system PCFs. What is going on?

    Nope, does not show up in-game. It can't load it for some reason. though the editor can see it just fine, and the manifest does reference the PCFs in console when the map is loaded. As in, the manifest is correct.

    well sometimes you get that console error but the particle effect is fine.
    make sure your info_particle_system is on start active. I often forget that one

    Hm. For some odd reason it just started to work. Ah well Thanks for the help.
