I have a model of a potted plant - but it's acting sorta see-thru for some reason - like you can see thru the outside as you walk around it...

It seems to be related to the texture I'm using (has an alpha channel for the plant leaves)
If I disable the: "$translucent" 1 attribute, it acts right... Is there a different command I need to be using?

    I think it's $alpha 1 or something like that.

That's the alpha. Is the model a 1 piece model? If so, try adding $mostlyopaque on the .qc

ahhh, after some discussion with a fellow mod'er - he explained a similair prob he had with a model, and it turns out, $alphatest 1 in the .vmt does the trick...

hopefully this helps other people that come across this problem with custom models and alphamaps....
