I'm making a curved wall as part of a bunker and I need to know how to do 2 things:

    1) Get the floor to curve with the (sewing makes the wall dip in and subdivide makes it slope out and the floor slope up)

    2) Put a cap on the wall ( It's a firing slot like the one in at the first cp in cp_gorge)

Sewing? Subdividing? Are you using displacements to make this curve? Using pieces of a hollowed out cylinder brush is much easier.

Or just use the arch tool.

Displacement walls look nicer but can be difficult to work with.

So, this is what you're going to do.

    1) using the arch tool, create an arch however big you want, using ~16 sides. I like to start out with a tube (360 degree arch) and then clipping it accordingly.
    2) shift-drag your corner up onto the original.
    3) while in solids selection mode, select and delete the parts of the top arch that you want
    4) shift-drag the bottom section to form the top of the slot.
