Ok, does a texture have to have anything special in its VMT to be able to build cubemaps on it? Because i got this carribean water texture but no matter what i do its purple checkers if i try to build cubemaps. Other waters work fine, but this one doesnt. Ive opened up the VMT of other water as well but i dont see any difference really.. Is it the actual texture that something has to change on?
make sure that you've got this in the vmt - "$envmap" "env_cubemap" if you've already got it, make sure its all spelt right
