Hello !

My pc has had problems, the hard drive was dead and I lost everything on it.

Today, I create maps with Hammer (I have no server or anything, I can just test them with my console) and I fear that in case of problem with my pc, I lose everything .. . How can I do if I have a new pc, I can continue my work on my maps? Knowing that I imported textures that are not original.

I tried to send a person my map file (sdk_content> maps and those in CSGO> maps) and going on with his console, he managed to go there but it was not like when I 'there went with my pc were missing map pieces and textures that I had imported, he did not see them.

How to "save" somewhere (USB key or other) and to resume (IN STATE) on another pc ?

I'm sorry for my english, I'm french

well if you know where the map file is search for the vmf and bsp file of them and transport it to another pc and have steam and what ever game your mapping on installed once you do that if you have it in a usb put the bsp in the maps folder and the vmf in mapssrc (hopefully this helps i havent mapped for csgo in a few years)
