Creating Grockets?

    I've found the model, but I'm unsure as to which particle effects/smoke effects to use for it.

    I've tried decompiling 2Fort but they don't appear on the map itself (in the skybox), most likely due to that they're like the Doves, with the script that places them.

    Anyone have any clues as to which effects to use?

    They are added the same as the doves were added before the Meet the medic update, through a text file.

    The particle effect looks like pipelines chimney effects.

    Actually, completely wrong Fr0zen.

    I placed a regular ol' prop_dynamic of the Grocket on my map, compiled & ran the map, and once I got into the map, the Grocket had the smoke and fire coming from the tail end automatically.

    Ta-da!

    Oh, I didn't know that it was included in the model.

    So you make a prop_dynamic of this effect and it will work?

    Yup. Make a prop dynamic, select props_skybox, then find the grocket MDL and use that as the world model.

    When compiled and run, the map automatically generates the necessary effects.

    However I'm having a problem where the 2 Doves I put onto my map using the above method are not doing anything. There were no listed animations for the MDL either so they're just sitting still, like statues :(

    Correct. The Grockets are added to the 3 maps they are in via a text file that was released with the update. The model has to be prop_dynamic for it to work.

    AFAIK, the doves have never moved.
