creating grass in your skybox

hi. I have a displacement in my map with the texture "nature/blendgroundtograss007" wich is a blend texture where the grass texture gets free grass models/sprites/stuff (i dont know what it is but I like it). Now I would like to use these same grass sprites in my skybox, but at a 1/16 scale. (currently they will apear huge)

Is there any way to do so?

I dont know.

But even if possible I wouldn't recommend it. Your 3d sky should be far away enough they shouldnt even be visible. And depending on how much grass you have, the number of sprites would increase like crazy (and the 3d sky is always rendered).

wow, quick reaction. My skybox is very easily visible.

Also these grass sprites have a fade distance, so shouldn't cost that much

my first guess would be to create a custom detail sprite set. with 16 times the density and lowered scale. and then custom textures to use that property.
