I was wondering if anyone could help me with a little detail work I'm having problems with.

I'm trying to create the starting area for the attacking team on my cp map, but I don't have any clue how to create irregular walls kind of like in Goldrush, Dustbowl, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, cliffs are made out of something called displacements. They're really tricky to master, but it's worth it. There's a tutorial [ame="http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=798"]here[/ame], just keep in mind that displacements are one way, don't block light from the back and don't block visibility.

There's also a bunch of models that you can use from the models library that were used in dustbowl and goldrush..etc... You don't have to model everything from hammer using displacements. Depending on your needs you could simply use these as lego blocks until you know what you need and then make your own props... or just keep them if they suit your needs.
