    Working on my 1st CP map. It's a small CP map, there are the usual 5 points. At the moment - it's defaulted to 30mins playtime. Do I need extra entities like game_round_win (forgive any mis spellings) for instance. any others I should consider?

    not bad for a first map, your brush work could use some work though.

    Also SS number 2 and 3.

    The far wall, brick. Break it up some, maybe add some trim or a concrete wall in front of it. You want to stay away from any sort of repetitiveness.

    Side note: What is your graphic card settings at? scene 4 looks so sad =(

    yeah I know, it's laziness (combined with lack of graphics talent). Those screenies were taken on my laptop (ATI X700 128MB), that I often use in front of telly (not much worth watching ;-) ) still completely playable, but the detail will be less than my desktop (Nvidia 8800GTS) that I actually play TF2 on.

    I will endeavour to break up the walls etc. what about game_round_win etc? any extra logic required too?

    30 minutes is the default server setting for how long to play on a map before switching. To make a round go into sudden death after a certain amount of time, use a team_round_timer with a game_round_win. To have your map switch when the server's time limit is reached, see this thread.
