cp_tunnel - A rather small symmetrical 5cp map. A map created for the Back2Basics contest. Probably sucks since it's my first fully functional tf2 map ever but eh. Known issues: - Resupply room doors open too slow/triggers are too small, so you get stuck for a split second while going through. - Probably need to improve sightlines. - Ideally, I would want both cap points unlocked after the mid point is taken by the enemy, but at the moment I have no idea how to do that, so you must capture point B before point A. - Respawns rooms for both teams are kinda confusing and messy. - Haven't had the chance to playtest yet, so I can't know how the map works for sure. am back Did a few gameplay changes, hopefully the map is better now Mid: - Removed cover from top of mid point, hopefully nerfing the position. - Added tunnel things for safer path to cap point. - Removed sniper nests, replaced with better nests above tunnels. Point A: - Completely reworked to make the area less cramped and messy. Significantly changed cover for both teams (pathways to the point itself stay the same) - Added clipping to window entrance. - Changed location of A signs. Point B: - Small changes to cover. - Hut entrance has been moved to remove an OP sightline, hut itself is stretched, giving more options for players on top of the roof. Misc: - Added dome over mid to give some eyecandy to an otherwise boring area. - Added some more red and blue lines indicating where each side is. Read the rest of this update entry...
