    Heres the map info:
    Map Name: cp_barrens
    Gameplay Type: Control Point, 2 capture points, 3 levels (not sure about it though)
    Theme: Dustbowl, Goldrush, Badlands

    I've never mapped for Team Fortress 2 (I attempted to), but I mapped for CS 1.6.

    I have started to work on a new map called cp_barrens, it will be similar to something like dustbowl. I've begun working on the blue respawn room. I attempted a version of the layout before, but it didn't look really good, so I'm remaking the map again. Hopefully this will turn out to be a lot better.

    New Screens:
    This is what I've got so far, not much, but ya... The light grey grids will be cliffs and feel free to comment

    Ok, I finished the blue spawn and I'm working on the entrances to the battlements. Here's what I've done so far. The red texture is going to be wood and the blue texture is probably those brick ones. Hopefully, I can release an alpha soon, and feel free to comment.

    I haven't been working on my map for around a week. Today I added more into the map, hopefully I can get an alpha version out soon :(. I might be able to scan a plan of my map. I'll have new screens out soon. Hopefully... And feel free to criticize on the part of the map I've done so far, in the screens before this post.

    Oh, also I still don't know whether to make it a control point like dustbowl or try a payload map, but I noticed that a lot of people are making payload maps, well... kind of... So, I'm not sure whether to stick with control point or modify my plan a bit for a payload type. Hm...

    Looks great! keep it up, I would personally go for CP but thats just my opinion

    Didn't work on my map today, I had other stuff to do. But I tried to think more about the layout of the map. What you see in the screenshot is only the second level of the 3 levels I'm making, only if I'm actually making 3 levels like Dustbowl. Unless, it should be a 5 capture point where blue needs to capture 5 points, and red only defends. I really don't have the layout of the other 2 levels. lol... I need to think about it, I was thinking of it changing from a desert theme to the alpine theme in one level. I might not have time to work on my map in the next few days. :mellow: Also the way the text stretches across the screen, it makes it feel that there isn't much written there.
