I was asked by a user on who retains ownership of the material posted to this site.

I want to make it clear that the original owner of whatever work is submitted, is retained by that person indefinitely. Please do note that there are some shady people who like to steal work and claim it as their own.

In this case, the site will not be held liable. It is your responsibility to protect your work (for example, watermarks on your images) if you wish to avoid this from happening.

Good to know, although this isn't an issue for me, because I know nobody would want to steal a big lump of crap such as my idle map I recently submitted.
