Whenever I try to copy or move overlays they seem to break because there not longer on the same brush as before, is there anyway to fix this, especially if I'm copying half of the map for the other team and want to keep the overlays without recreating each of them?

You can change the brush face an overlay is assigned to in its settings. Unforttunately, there's no way to do this en masse.

When you copy them over, make sure to change the brush face number

Open the properties of the overlay, and you will see a property called "Brush faces". Click pick, and click on the faces the overlay should display on using the 3d viewport. Ctrl + left click to select multiple faces. Screenshot (230).png

Keep in mind also that the 3D views won't update right away; I don't know what triggers the refresh, but eventually they will.

Moving the overlay triggers the refresh
