    Conspiracy is a map in which blue infiltrates red base to find a secret base hidden underground. The further the blue team travels the more is uncovered in this WIP pl map.

    It's my first map ever to be released to the public. The current stable build is pre-alpha 2 which you can download and check out.

    Stage 1 takes place outside where everything seems fine and normal. Part 1 is still being worked on and part 2 is just now being built. After stage 1, everything will take place underground, something you don't see too often in a payload map.

    HOLY BEANS BATMAN! the idea for this map seems really cool, it will be interesting to watch your progress as you begin to put things in their final locations and really throw in the detail

    I cannot wait until the final version is done.
    I sure hope there is something REALLY cool at the end.

    Sounds good. Just make sure to make the roofs underground somewhat high, so the soldiers and demos can rocket/sticky jump.

    Just downloaded the map (for a runthrough later) and it's called pl_laboratory, is this the same map?

    Okay, regardless of what it was I still played it. The basics are there, which is good. But it does look very open, I can find like 4-5 rather safe sniper spots because of the openness.

    I also got points for capturing as red, which isn't supposed to happen in normal payload maps. But I can't get this to replicate again after the first time.

    But it has a maddening lack of healthpacks. The only healthpack I can find is the last point, along with a large ammo item. There should be more healthpacks and ammos lying around the map (like in alternate paths and whatnot). And there's no need for the ammo to be placed there, the only chance is for red to use it (engies to build sentries).

    Here's an invisible wall (right next to where I'm standing). Instead of making an invisible wall, just seal off that section next to the building instead.

    Lol ya... the map was orignally labs, then laboratory... those names were both taken SO it's finally named Conspiracy and posted so the name is preserved.

    Red getting points is something I have heard of before, I have to look into it again, I thought it was a randomly server glitch at first.

    It is quite open but i'm working on that as we speak. I'm mostly making sure the concept works hense I have it as a "pre-alpha" since it's broken and nowhere near done. Anyway, the openness is going away slowly but surely.

    Lack of healthpacks is being resolved as well. There is a healthpack in the cap point and in the forward-red house. There is ammo in the same location and in the abandoned mine shaft (off the cart's path on the bottom), may put a small health there. Also above that I am constructing a shed (to limit sniper vision) and putting in full ammo and health.

    In your first picture i'm not seeing a gap, where do you see it? (i'm seeing the cap point), the one at blue i can't figure out what's causing it. I have torn it apart and no texture is overlapping, I may have to recreate the detail and see if that fixes it.

    The invisibile wall is the sky, it'll be expanded for part 2 but I cut it short to test out part 1. Thank you for the comments though, i'll try to fix the problems here and get part 2 built up.

    And fixed my stupidity. Changed the name of the map in the .rar file.

    Lol no you said there is a problem with the textures... but I'm not sure what you mean.

    Oh that was actually referring to the second picture (blu building). My style is text first, picture afterwards. Sorry for the confusion.

    i think he is refering to the 2nd pic of blue spawn, under the overhang you can see out into space

    Yeah I gotta see if I can fix that. I really have no clue as to what's causing it, but hopefully I can figure it out.

    I've been busy with life, but am slowly chipping away at the map. I want to get alot done before the next release, mostly cosmetic changes, a few gameplay tweaks, adding part 2, etc. I'll try to post some updated shots soon.
