[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqx8-3AcL4Y&feature=channel"]YouTube - TigerTV Host: Logan Vs. Kyra[/ame] I just finished watching this (linked after watching the falcon controller demo vid) and found a couple things quite amusing. First of all, all of Logan's sly gripes at anything that you have to pay subscriptions for. Mostly because several of my friends are tight asses and constantly moan about being skint. Yet they pay monthly subscriptions to WoW. It's pretty much the first thing that comes up in any arguement between my friends and I when we compare gaming habits and how they intrude on our lives, "Yea, i paid like £6 for TF2, that's it, gets updated for free, will always be free to play, you suck". Secondly, the heat he mentions at the end of the video. My room gets pretty damn hot. My case has 3 fans, my motherboard has a heat sync with an intenral fan that circulates air in a specific direction within my case, and i could attatch a liquid coolent system if i could be arsed. I have my radiator turned off because there's no need for it. My rooms pretty small.. but yea. My computer just heats my room up so much But it's a pretty heated debate between PC and console users as to which is better, with so many variables. Then there's the side debate over games that require subscriptions. I'll never play a game that requires a subscription. If it comes to that i'm just hitting the local. I played WoW for 3 months because a mate gave me a trial to level 20 and said i wont experience the game until i reach a higher level. I got to level 49 on a 3 month sub and decided it wasn't worth continuing. The gameplay was monotonous (grind this grind that, fly here, run there), the graphics look pre-sims so it's not even like i can look at the game because it sucks pretty bad. It's just a glorified RPG and why anyone would pay for it monthly is beyond me. Sure it gets updated content on a questionable frequency, but so do Valve games, and you don't have to pay. Well i'll stop there before i break into a rant. I just thought i would share a video that i connected to as a gamer.
