So yesterday my old computer were acting very weird. At one point the monitor gone the it came back but even the cursor eas frikkin' slow! Today I tried to turn on my computer but this happened. As long as I don't know what happened I just eat my chocolate pudding Also sorry for the dark video. Recorded by phone: View: https://youtu.be/EIIO-c9U58c
It won't even start. When I want to turn it on it's just do nothing. Everything plugged in. I hope yesterday it wasn't it's last breath.
It's hard for me to tell what's going on in your video, but first check cables (especially the power supply) --it sounds simple but don't rule it out. If you're any good with hardware open it up and see if there's dust or if any connectors came loose. If it's a hard drive or ram problem it would bluescreen or otherwise say so. If none of the above works, it might be hardware failure
Cables are okay. I had this very loud buzzing sound. It happened sometimes but yesterday it was the loudest. Here is how its sounds like: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ujt7sy7xcfjj659/Voice 003.m4a?dl=0
Alright, so if something's making noise it has to be a moving part (i suspect psu) but hard drive and fan are also possible. Can you open it up and determine what's causing it?
Well it's either the processor or the power supply. I wouldn't surprise if the power supply died. Its like a chinese no name which is used cause our first one died also. But also my processor is the oldest in my computer. So i'll take a closer look.
Plug off all peripherals (usb devides, mouse, keyboard, display screens) and try starting it again. Short circuits in peripherals can make a PC turn off instantly after start. If that doesn't work, then check that the CPU fan is connected properly to the CPU. See if it starts spinning after turning on the PC, it might be broken and the PC turns off because of overheating. If the above doesn't fix it then it's your Power Supply. Buy a new one, preferably one with 80+ bronze certificate at least, don't buy the cheapest shit. It's possible that your faulty power supply has grilled your motherboard, in that case you will have to buy a new motherboard too.
