CompilePal props not loading

    Hi,

    i compiled my map with CompilePal, i selected the vmf file, i compiled with normal settings and the Custom Props still dont show up?!

    Please Help

    (i selected (Pack) too)

    Do you mean they won't show up for other player or just for you? Because if it's the latter, it doesn't matter if you pack the models in the map.
    Are there other errors in teh compile log? Perhaps you were using prop_statics with models which can only be used as a prop dynamic?

    i mean they dont show up for other player, and no it only showed an error with a displacement but that error check site (Interlopers) said that this error can be ignored

    About the displacement error, you might wanna look into it still. Do you create displacements properly? This means, only selecting the face that needs to be a displacement, so when you create the displacement, the other faces disappear. If you select all faces of a brush while creating displacements, you end up with a ton of unecessary displacements behind floor and walls. Check if your map has some of those, select them and click "destroy" at the displacement tap.

    i dont think i only selected one face on every displacement on the map, i take a look at it

    is this why the props dont work?

    That would be why packing didn't work. For w/e reason, compilepal did not have read access to that file. you can try fixing the rights to those files or you can try running compilepal as admin.
