Is there any way to make info_player_teamspawn work only for certain classes?
no, but you can have 1 spawnpoint with 9 trigger_teleports on it filtered to each class individually, then teleport the ones that you want places in those places.
if you temporarily remove ABS's fgd you can use the info_player_teamspawn flags of only having it spawn one specific class. the fgd hasn't been updated to include that yet.
which you can do by going to Tools - Options and then clicking an fgd to remove or add one from the bin folder:

I wonder if that works for bots too in MvM
Just fixed that issue, here is fixed fgd, if somebody need it.
It should be.
As far as I know MvM uses another system to specify where spies, engineers and others special enemies spawn.
This could be a pretty neat feature. One could make a spawnroom with a separate "personalized" room for each class, haha
