    Intro

    Chicony will be my first released map, im working on it 1-3 hours a day, but sometimes i just run around it and search for bugs. I hope you will like it, also i would like to have some feedback what to improve and what to fix!

    Description

    It’s the time when most people go on holidays, also red team. But blue team as always need to check are they really going on holidays. Blue team sent their spy to check is red team really on holidays. Blue team knew that red team isn’t going on holidays. Spy approved that, also he said that red team is going to secret weapon warehouse. But what will they do there? Blue team can’t live safely, without knowing what plans they have. Blue team followed them to warehouse, but it was too late. Almost all red team was gone, but some members are still there. So now you need to fight them and get their intelligence to see what do they plan, but don’t allow them to steal your or you will be doomed!

    *Fixed all door problems(Sentry's shooting at them. Stickies not falling etc)
    *Fixed elevator problems(All elevators had the same name)
    *Fixed misaligned objects
    *Fixed some signs
    *Added Hint brushes and Player clip(Now you wont be stuck at doors)
    *Added stalemate when server set time ends
    *Changed playing time from 30 minutes to 15
    *Updated post description and intro

    I see that you have some texture on a wrong scale, try to fix that. And the hazzard texture by the water has some strange white strips around it, rotate is 90 degrees to fix it.

    I already fixed almost all problems with textures..
    So now i almost finished adding lights.
    Alpha will be released maybe after 2 or 3 days :)

    You really shouldn't use the blue R logo. It's a leftover valve decided not to use/finish.

    a fun map, for about 10 minutes. Good for short matches. Your map also failed to respect mp_timelimit. Consider using setstalemateontimelimit

    Tnx for the demo. I Fixed the problem with timelimit already so it should work in next version.

    It looks good and I love the story! Nice map for my clan....great work....keep on rockin' !

    haha, it´s so small and cute and at the same time claustrophobic, i loved it

    only thing that bothered me was the light, it was way to bright, i´d love to see the map in a more dark setting with only few lights

    keep up the good work

    It's a spamfest. But we all knew that already, I guess it could be better in 4vs4 or so.

    Issues: more than 1 sentry in either base and its completely locked. They got longer range than any room is wide.
    Elevators! I got crushed twice today while riding it to get UP (I was standing on it and somehow I got fragged). They are slow and dangerous, Why arent you using stairs?
    Remove the health and ammo in the middle section (it just promotes door camping)

    I really encourage you to make the map larger, the walk from base to base should be longer than 2 seconds...

    *Will fix it for next release, i have plans to make the map 2 times bigger then it is now, also new routes will be available.

    *I might change the elevator speed, so they will move faster and maybe safer?
    I don't use stairs, because my maps is small and stairs would take 1/2 of the blu base space.

    *Will make them smaller, but wont remove, because i will make map bigger.

    *Already answered in 1st answer.

    *Tnx, i didn't know that it's too bright, i will try to make it darker.



    Also if there will be a demo available, post it here, i want to see is there any more problems.

    It's extremely narrow and small. Snipers have no place in this map at all. I tried playing Spy, but I would just get sandwiched and killed every single time, no matter where I went.

    It just needs to open up, to give people a bit more breathing room, and to make moving easier.

    The elevators feel awkward - stairs don't take up that much room, and they're obviously easier to use.

    Yeah, if you're going to make it bigger, replace the elevators with stairs.

    Woa i've almost abandoned this :( But i'm back with new ideas, and hopes.
    Good news is that im working on A3.
    Which will be 2x bigger then A2!
    *No more elevators
    *No more pyro,heavy maps
    *New routes for spies
    *Darker

    Also i have free time, so im working parallel on G-pit stile map.(No its not small) huh
