    I give in! I think I'm going to enter this contest....maybe. Don't hold me to it!

    Except I did! The map isn't quite as polished as I wanted it to be for the submission, but that's ok as I wasn't originally planning on entering at all.

    KOTH_Capitulation is a map! With a theme! And a story!

    I just ran through your contest version that you posted and you have a game-breaking issue, just FYI.

    The visualizers for the BLU base are set to make only the RED team pass...son't know how that one got through. Contact Frozen if you want a chance, because that makes the map unplayable.

    Oh, and a lot of parts of your map are in complete darkness, fyi.

    Thanks PDT! My final compile finished 2 minutes before the deadline and I managed to post 1 minute before so I didn't even test it :X Fr0zen let me fix those issues thank goodness. The darkness was actually a really weird bug, the lights compiled onto the wrong side of the map?!???? Something to do with the instances not getting updated in Hammer memory or something I'm sure.

    2 things I would like you to fix. 1. Add an actual bridge to the supports. 2. Please align the concrete texture in the ceiling. Otherwise I think it looks cool, nobody can say it isn't unique. My only problem with the environment is the skybox, it's toooo orange. One last thing! I think that the red pipe looks really out of place, choose a pipe with another color.

    Looks like Cheeto factory accident with all that orange dust in the air. Lower the fog, please.

    I could make an area with cheetos maybe on the desk like in a background art place (ex: there are pills* so why not snacks?)

    I will make this the definition of art so don't worry about unaligned texture tell me what you think of themes and how areas are different and how it plays :D

    So yes :) Bridge is coming this is iterative blockout of art-idea on top of the design idea. Don't worry I can make details (and I do want feedback on details but not yet you will know when it's detailed because there will be details).

    Will be less orange when the perfection of orange vs. grey is found (now taking bets on what the main orange value will be).


    *for some people pills are snacks and TF2 non-seen-npc's are lazy (why fight?) so snack alot.
