    I made a website for just that - http://steamidfinder.com :D

Find your steam id you just enter your profile ID or URL, or your custom id/url. You can't use your steam name because well, you can change that at any time and it'd be pretty difficult to keep track of all of them.

If you have any ideas for extra features please let me know, but here's what I'm going to add right now:
    - link to backpack
    - link to stats
    - link to add to friends

and later I want to have support for sigs so you'll be able to have an image that you can post in a sig on any forum that'll show your current status.

Thanks for this. Saves me having to go in-game to find it.

I've just kept a text file with my ID in the steamapps folder since the beta days of Steam.

Added signature feature - I talked to drpepper since he owns steamprofile and he offered to let me just generate the images on his website.

A lot more work to do now. I want to redo input validation since there's a few glitches.
