Cant open my map save for tf2 anymore

Hi, when I open my map file via day of defeat or any other game in hammer, it opens fine, but when I try to open it via TF2 (the game the map is for) it says 'Post Processing' at 33%, stays there for a second, then just closes. No errors or anything, the program just goes 'nope, wont let you.' Once again changing the current game allows me to edit it, but it just wont work with TF2 alone. This is so bloody frustrating and could cause me big problems in the future, can someone suggest a fix to this issue? Thanks.

Try reading the recent topics in the forum, it is a known issue with a known fix.

Has anyone had problems with instances? Mine seem to have flat out disappeared from my map.

Its it possible that you are opening your map from a different directory? (such as autosave?)
