Cannot open Hammer (solved)

Hello! So i wanted to make a team fortress 2 map (or atleast try to) and thus i followed a tutorial, which said to first open hammer.bat (keep in mind i only have tf2 installed), after that click it away, but i don't even get a screen? after that, whe to open hammer.exe it gives me nothing. any help?
