But seriously to explain the way to use the water texture in post form, the sauce texture is an overlay on a displacement that has the material "tools/invisibledisplacement", so you make the soup water and then you place the displacement with the overlay on top of it by at least 1 hu, with no physics, hull, and ray collision boxes ticked.

Alternatively you can also make the soup texture itself the displacement, have all 3 boxes ticked except this time, have the displacement fit with the exact area of the soup with texture lock off, go into paint geometry, untick the spatial box and raise every vertices by 1 except for the ones that are at the sides.
